THE RETURN OF THE SACRED WILD
Dear Woman,
As I write this I am going through an extraordinary Rite of Passage ... My bleeds are interspersed and I am navigating the steamy waters of Peri-Menopause's fiery crucible...as I wake at night with incredible heat flushes - my bed soaking, my body shivering as it goes from hot to cold...
This phase (like the other four phases of our womanhood, Maiden, Mother, Medicine Woman, and Crone is undernourished, under-recognised, and undervalued in our society. And more so...it is laced with gifts of healing...for instance, perimenopause gifts us the opportunity to heal our Maiden...our teenager (from 13- 29 years of age)..I feel myself becoming incredibly strong, clear, and determined more than ever to STAND for what I believe in...I CHOOSE who and what I let into my sacred temple and I SPEAK truth more and more. I AM... all ...the light- the dark and I choose to make my life a declaration of unconditional love as I work through old judgments (my shadow), self pain. loathing, shame, and all other that is shown to me during this phase...
There is great magic and gifts in each phase... Time to reclaim our natural Birth (rite) Rights... There is great wisdom and knowledge and power in all of these phases ...and did you know that we travel through each of these archetypes every fertility cycle? Every lunar cycle? Every season...?
I see myself growing up into my Crone years (when I stop my bleed- menopause) - and I LOOK FORWARD to my silvery hair...that is luminous...It is CROWN..
The Sacred Wild within us invites us to dance within Her sacred spirals...
The absolute Mystery of our Womanhood is what I wish to impart to you once again dear Sister.
We are - all living creatures - Sacred... and Innovative, genius, Wild, a poet, singers, weavers, Artists....
There are women who visit me...who have never tapped into their Creative Soul...an invisible realm waiting... full of moonlit escapades, intrigue... and adventure... Whether you are in your 60's, 30's ... I invite you to re-member your inner creative life...
And no matter what issue brings women to my home... they leave with a compass...a Soul's calling that can be felt...
The Woman's Life..is Wild... Sacred... Seeking and discovering...curious ...and Wise...
